When watching this video VOYR put together it felt like the lectures from my Multimedia Communications course mixed with strategic planning discussed in my Marketing course. If you confused here, yes I am talking about the one and only Watch The Throne Tour. But those who walk away thinking Jay and Yeezy are the only ones who came out winning are sadly mistaken. This tour was every major brands dream. To attach your name to this seemingly epic event meant guaranteed success via the world wide web. I think this video is worth watching because it makes you think twice about the age of technology and most importantly how corporations utilize it today. So even though Jay and Yeezy claim to be no prisoner of the white man’s society, they have not outsmarted the business the way they think they have . In no way am I down playing their efforts to rule the world though entertainment. A part of me still thinks, even though you have all the money you will ever need, something bigger than you is happening. As consumers we all get sucked in to the experience, the product, the luxury we all envy. But at least this video shows me one thing, that today we really are quite a powerful bunch… and profits are to be made off that. Music has come so far. I will end this abruptly by saying … that shit cray Watch&Enjoy
